ran 5.5m recovery at lunch through Hyde Park as usual. passed the Serpentine 5k runners and ran alongside the winner as he crossed the line - a mile in front.
summary for the week so far: 7.5m on tuesday lunchtime (aborted mile-interval training) and 5.5m recovery on wed morning.
think the legs need a little more time to get back from the stress of the race and to adapt to the new mizunos (wave ultima 2, bought from runandbecome on monday). strained toe in that tuesday run. don't know how that was caused by the shoes, but doing a sub-6min mile in them straight out the box wasn't too clever.
off to mildred's vegetarian restaurant and then avenue Q afterwards. everyone, literally everyone, says it's v funny. hope so!
